Web Courses
You can earn Drake credit every summer without changing out of your swimsuit, pajamas, or vacation wear! Enroll in Drake's summer Web-based courses, which are delivered over the Internet and taught by the University's outstanding faculty with the same high quality as on-campus courses. More than 60 courses are available in areas such as accounting, education, English, history, and the sciences. Web-based courses support collaborative learning. You may be assigned homework and/or projects, or be involved in problem solving and case studies. Online, you may do reasearch, take tests, quizzes, surveys and exams, and participate in online discussion forums, real-time chats, and e-mail. Off-line, you may participate in individual study using textbooks, CD-ROMs or other materials.
You can earn undergraduate or graduate credit toward a Drake degree or, like all Drake courses, transfer it to other institutions. Web-based courses are interactive, challenging, and rewarding opportunities to advance toward your degree, explore your interests, and learn from exceptional professors. And you can "attend" class any time around the clock.
