Learning Communities
At Drake, your learning is not confined within classroom walls. One way you can break out of that box is with a Drake learning community, in which students take two courses - one in the fall and another in the spring - and also live on the same residence hall floor. Through the two courses, students' out-of-class discussions, and the friendships they develop, learning communities let students gain a deeper and fuller understanding of topics ranging from politics to American society to accounting. Your academic adviser can help you explore learning community options.
