Housing for Transfer Students

Full-time students live in a Drake residence hall for all periods of enrollment within two years of high school graduation. The exceptions: students who are married, who live at home or who live with relatives.

You may choose to live in one of Drake’s residence halls or live off campus in an apartment nearby. Drake’s residence halls offer non-smoking floors, quiet study floors, full access to the World Wide Web, and some have air conditioning. Drake’s Real Estate Office and the Office of Residence Life can help you find off campus housing that suits your needs.
