The Bulldogs are coming to Daytona Beach...
Your Drake men's basketball team will be playing in the Glenn Wilkes Classic in Daytona Beach THIS WEEKEND (November 20-22) at the Ocean Center. Prior to the Bulldogs' November 21 game against Akron, join fellow alums and Bulldog fans at the Mai Tai Bar, 250 N. Atlantic Avenue at 11:00 am for a pre-game gathering, featuring Dolph Pulliam, 1969 Final Four member and color commentator for Drake's radio broadcasts. There is no cost to attend; there will be appetizers available and you may purchase beverages at the bar.

Cheer on Drake Football in Indianapolis!
Your Drake Bulldog football team is coming to Indianapolis this Saturday (November 21) to take on Butler. The Bulldogs are having a great season at 8-2 and this is your opportunity to see them play! To get your tickets, please visit www.ticketmaster.com.
Before the game, put on your Drake Blue and stop by Granite City Food and Brewery, 150 West 96th Street in Indianapolis, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm to connect with other alumni, pick up some Drake pom-poms, and get fired up for the game.Granite City is located about 10 minutes from Butler's campus. If you plan to attend the pre-game, please e-mail John Brown at john.brown@drake.edu by no later than Thursday, November 19 so we can plan accordingly with Granite City. Hungry? Let's DU Lunch...
The 11th year of Let's DU Lunch is off and running! The spring session is coming soon and we have the following speakers:
· February 3: Tom Hadden, Metro Waste Authority
· March 3: TBD
· April 7: Greg Edwards, Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau
All luncheons are at AllPlay, 615 3rd Street in Downtown Des Moines. The cost is $17 per person ($13 for young professionals age 35 and under). To RSVP, please call 271-2500.

Yearbooks are now online
That's right! The Quax yearbooks are becoming available for viewing on the web. One of the new heritage collections at Cowles Library is the Drake Yearbooks. Through many hours of dedicated work, you can click here and see any given yearbook page by page. This is a work-in-progress and not all the years are online yet, so if you do not see a particular year, be sure to check back from time to time.
