download the 2012 Incoming First-Year Honors Program Application.
Please attach the application form and essay and submit via e-mail to honors.program@drake.edu. You will receive confirmation when your materials have been received. We look forward to reading your submission.
Drake University's unique Honors Program has no strict GPA requirements for participation, though recommended qualifications are an ACT score of 29 or SAT-I score of 1270, grade point average of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale, or class rank in the top 5 percent. Admission to the Honors Program is not restricted to only those meeting these criteria; all motivated students looking for discussion-based and writing-intensive courses are are encouraged to participate.
Enrollment in the one-credit Honors First Year Practicum (fall semester course) requires an application on file by June 15 preceding the start of fall semester. Applications should be submitted via e-mail to honors.program@drake.edu.
