The Honors Program Track is a general education curriculum option of discussion-based, writing-intensive courses. Students may take the Honors Track in place of Areas of Inquiry (AOI) requirements.
Honors courses are capped at 20 students, ensuring small class size and ample opportunity for thought-provoking conversation. Honors professors teach courses on topics relating to their research interests, so courses vary each semester. Honors students may choose which courses they would like to take based on their individual passions and interests.
Honors Track Requirements:
- One Quantitative AOI course -- 3 credits
- One Artistic Experience AOI course -- 3 credits
- One Physical or Life Science course w/ lab -- 4 credits
- HONR 100: Paths to Knowledge -- 4 credits
- 15 additional credits in Honors*

*Students on the Honors Track should take a diversified curriculum: no more than 2 Honors or Honors cross-listed courses from the same department may be counted toward the 15 Honors elective credits.
