Web Resources for Students
The Big Guide to Living and Working Overseas:This is a massive collection of information on international careers, internships, graduate programs, study abroad, etc. Drake subscribes to this service on an annual basis, which makes it possible for our faculty, staff and students to access the site without additional charge. Below are instructions about how to register and login to the site.
Go to: http://www.workingoverseas.com/drake (note that you will arrive at a special page set up for Drake, not the usual Big Guide home page)
If do not yet have an account, click on new user and fill out the required information. For username, use your Drake e-mail address. For password, enter your Drake password. Submit the form by clicking button at the bottom. An e-mail will be sent to your Drake e-mail account. Follow the directions in the e-mail to ACTIVATE your account. Just logging in alone will not activate your account. If you log in, but do not activate within 30 days, then your account will be terminated (though you could start all over again). When you return, always go to the special Drake web page. Log in and start using the resources of The Big Guide.
