Programs in Education Leadership
Drake offers two degrees in education leadership. These part-time programs were designed to meet the needs of working professionals and help them to take the next step in their careers.
Master of Science in Educational Leadership
(Principal Licensure)
This master’s degree program is ideal for teachers seeking a variety of leadership positions within school districts, including principals, associate/assistant principals, athletic directors, deans of students, curriculum coordinators or Area Education Agency consultants.
Specialist in Education Leadership
(Superintendent Licensure)
The Specialist in Education Leadership (Ed.S.) is a post-masters program. It prepares students for superintendent/AEA administration licensure and enables them to become exemplary leaders within the field of education.
