Drake University Spring Commencement
Pharmacy Hooding Ceremony - Saturday, May 12, at 4:00 p.m. All participants should check in by 3:15 in the Bell Center gym. Further details for this event will be distributed via email from the College of Pharmacy. Questions may be directed to the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Dean's Office at 271-3018.
President's Reception - Saturday, May 12, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Olmsted Center (casual attire).
The Law School Commencement - Saturday, May 12, at 7:00 p.m. Students will line up in the Law School at 5:45 p.m. Processional begins at 6:45 p.m. Knapp Center opens for guests at 6:00 p.m.
The 132nd Commencement Ceremony for Undergraduate Degree Recipients – Sunday, May 13, at 10:00 a.m. (Approximate length 2 hours.) Students check in at the Bell Center gym by 9:15 a.m. Knapp Center doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Instructions and announcements for the processional and the recessional will be at 9:30 a.m.
Commencement Lunch - Sunday, May 13, at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Quad Creek Cafe, Hubbell Dining Hall. All graduates and families are invited to attend the commencement lunch. Tickets are $6.25 in advance and $7.25 at the door. Please RSVP to lunch with return envelope enclosed in mailed invitation to:

Special note: Please do not bring to the ceremonies any objects that contain latex.
At least one of our current Drake students has a latex allergy. Exposure to latex in certain forms may be life threatening. Therefore, we ask that you do not bring latex objects, such as latex balloons, to any of the commencement ceremonies. If you have latex items that are medically related and need to be used at any of the ceremonies, please contact the Student Records Office at 515-271-2025. We appreciate your cooperation. |
