The Drake University Content Management System(CMS) and Portal Project
In the 21st century, a homepage is every bit as important to Drake University as the front door to Old Main. It’s often the first stop for Drake’s various constituencies from parents and prospective students to alumni and supporters. To that end, Drake strives to keep its Web content on the cutting edge and incorporate the latest tools to make it easier for both visitors to the site and content creators and managers. To that end, the University has begun a new project that will vastly improve our Web content. Drake has purchased a software system called Luminis. The same company that makes Banner, our current record and data management system makes Luminis. The new software will allow us to integrate with our existing system while meeting key objectives of the University. |
